Confidence • Transformation • Creativity • Solar Energy
An incredible statement piece of Earth’s artistry. 🐝☀️ These giant Bumblebee Jasper slabs showcase some of the most spectacular coloring and patterning found in this unusual Indonesian material. Brilliant sunflower yellow and golden orange flow between dramatic layers of charcoal grey, black, cream and earthy volcanic tones, creating a natural landscape that almost looks painted.
The large slab format is especially beautiful because it reveals the stone’s formation on a much grander scale. Sweeping bands, intricate layers and crystalline textures travel across the surface, giving each piece the feeling of a cross-section through an ancient volcanic landscape.
Despite its familiar trade name, Bumblebee Jasper is not technically a true jasper. It is a rare, carbonate-rich lapidary material found near Mt. Ciremai in West Java, Indonesia, where it formed in a volcanic fumarole environment. Studies have found the material to be predominantly calcite, with its extraordinary yellow and orange pigmentation associated with arsenic-sulfide minerals such as pararealgar and realgar.
In crystal traditions, Bumblebee Jasper carries a wonderfully bold, solar energy and is commonly associated with moving beyond limitations and embracing the courage to become something new.

With their vivid golden coloring and impressive size, they feel almost like pieces of natural mineral artwork.
Each slab is completely one of a kind. Natural coloration, banding, crystalline areas, cavities, edges and surface textures will vary from piece to piece, making each specimen its own little geological masterpiece.
Care Note: Bumblebee Stone contains arsenic-bearing mineral phases, so we recommend enjoying these slabs strictly as display specimens. Wash hands after handling, keep away from children and pets, and never cut, drill, grind or sand the material where dust could be produced. Do not use for crystal elixirs or drinking water.
