Small Tumbled Bumblebee Jasper Stone
Confidence β’ Creativity β’ Transformation β’ Solar Energy
A tiny burst of sunshine and Earth magic. πβοΈ These small tumbled Bumblebee Jasper stones are filled with incredible natural patterning, featuring combinations of vibrant golden yellow, orange, charcoal grey, cream and black. Some have bold stripes and flowing bands, while others feature little golden orbs, swirls and abstract landscapesβno two are ever quite alike.
Despite its trade name, Bumblebee Jasper is not technically a jasper. This unusual material comes from West Java, Indonesia and is predominantly fibrous calcite. Its famous yellow and orange coloring is associated with the arsenic-sulfide minerals pararealgar and realgar, while dark areas can contain tiny aggregates of pyrite.Β
We especially love these smaller tumbles as an affordable way to add this fascinating material to your mineral collection. Their smooth, petite size makes them beautiful for an altar, crystal display, intention setting or simply admiring all of the intricate patterns created by the Earth.

In crystal traditions, Bumblebee Jasper is often associated with bold transformation and following what lights you upβa wonderfully symbolic stone for stepping beyond old limitations, reconnecting with your creativity and moving toward new possibilities.
Each stone will be intuitively chosen for you. Because this is a naturally patterned material, your tumble may feature more yellow, orange, grey, cream or black than those shown. Shape, size, markings and mineral texture will also vary, making every piece completely unique.
Care Note: Bumblebee Stone contains arsenic-bearing mineral phases, so these are best enjoyed as polished mineral specimens. Wash hands after handling, keep away from children and pets, never place in drinking water or crystal elixirs, and do not cut, drill, sand or grind the material where dust could be produced. Gem-A specifically notes the concern of arsenic-sulfide minerals when dust is generated during fashioning.Β
